KENTUCKY FATHERHOOD SUMMIT

What is the Kentucky Fatherhood Summit?

The Kentucky Fatherhood Summit is our signature bi-annual statewide gathering, an event dedicated to elevating, empowering, and strengthening fatherhood across the Commonwealth. The summit brings together fathers, mothers, youth, families, fatherhood advocates, practitioners, policy makers, law enforcement, government agencies, service providers, educators, and community partners who all share one mission: building a Kentucky where fathers are present, equipped, supported, and empowered.

More than an event, the Summit is a movement, a space where stories are honored, barriers are addressed, and real solutions are created. It’s where we reach new heights in fatherhood advancement, emphasizing and addressing the unique journeys of fathers re-entering their communities after incarceration, returning from Recovery programs, and working toward safe and stable family reunification. It's where relationships deepen, communities unite, and hope is renewed.

The Kentucky Fatherhood Summit is designed to:

  • Strengthen fatherhood involvement statewide

  • Champion family unity and healthy relationships

  • Support fathers of all backgrounds, biological, step, foster, adoptive, and more

  • Equip practitioners and service providers with practical tools to better serve fathers

  • Promote collaboration among agencies, leaders, and communities
